DESCRIPTION:“Communication for Innovators” is an interactive public speaking seminar designed to help participants express their creative ideas with confidence\, clarity and persuasiveness.The seminar contains two components: – A public speaking lecture – An interactive\, participatory and peer-reviewed speaking exercise. The objective is to not only prepare participants for potential venture capital meetings\, but also to enhance the way they formally structure and deliver ideas to audiences.\n\nInteractive Public Speaking Exercise:\nDuring the interactive public speaking exercise\, participants will take turns answering impromptu questions before the group. Fellow attendees will time their responses\, count “ums and ahs” and scan for the application of techniques from the lecture.
