Anne earned a Bachelor’s Degree from The George Washington University in Washington\, DC and a Master’s Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia\, PA. She sits on various boards and is actively involved with the United States Rowing Association\, the County of Camden\, and the Greater Philadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce.

DESCRIPTION:This workshop will provide a technically focused introduction to building a cross platform (iOS and Android) mobile applications using React Native. In addition\, Robert will provide some notes on his experience using React Native to build and release an app to the App/Play stores. \nThis workshop is intended for software developers interested in learning the basics of React Native and/or considering using it for future projects. A working knowledge of Javascript\, Node.js and NPM will be required to work through the workshop activities. \nThe workshop will cover: \n\nStarting a React Native Project and Application Structure (Folder and Files)\nReact basics\, JSX\, and React Native Components.\nLayout with Flexbox\nGetting Data from APIs\nStyling with CSS\nUsing third party packages\n\nAt the end of the workshop we will have built a fully functional mobile application. \nMore about the Speaker: \nRobert Rupp is currently a software engineer at EaseCentral\, a San Francisco based SaaS company\, that provides web based solutions to small group insurance brokers. \nRobert has 6 years of software development experience primarily focused on desktop and web based business applications\, and recently released a cross platform React Native mobile application: “Speedline” (speedlineapp.com)\, a PATCO Schedule app.
