Tax Planning 101: How to Do Planning Before Year-End

You can’t plan for 2017 in 2018 so do not wait! Even with the uncertainty of tax reform, you can still plan for year-end. Alloy Silverstein’s Managing Shareholder Ren Cicalese will walk attendees through the basics of tax planning, whether you are a startup or small business, and what strategies you need to consider before year-end.

Speaker’s Bio: Reynold P. Cicalese, CPA, PFS, CGMA
Managing shareholder and officer of Alloy Silverstein Accountants and Advisors, Mr. Cicalese received his
bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. He is certified in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, including the Tax, Information Technology, and Personal Financial Planning Divisions.
Ren has been named a “Top CEO/CFO” and a “South Jersey Executive of the Year” by South Jersey Biz in recent years and in 2013 was named a “50 Over 50” by the NJ Society of CPAs. He has received multiple honors as distinguished alumni of Rutgers University–Camden and is currently serving on the Dean’s Executive Advisory Council of Rutgers University. As Immediate Past President of INPACT Americas, an international alliance of independent accounting firms, he served consecutive two-year terms and is currently serving as Chair of INPACT’s Global Board of Directors. Ren is passionate about giving back to the South Jersey community and has served on numerous Boards for civic and charitable organizations over the years, and he has established an annual Adopt-A-Family program that benefits 60+ Camden County families each holiday season.
In addition to the accounting firm, Ren serves as director of our payroll affiliate, Abacus Payroll, Inc., and director of our wealth management affiliate, Alloy Silverstein Financial Services, Inc. In this capacity, he has passed the FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams and may offer securities through 1st Global Capital Corp., Member FINRA, SIPC. Ren is licensed to sell Life and Health Insurance.
