Design Thinking Workshop with Webjunto

Design thinking is a proven and repeatable problem-solving protocol that is used in both startups and big organizations such as Apple and Google. In just 120 minutes, this Master Class will introduce a number of key concepts which focus on validating and refining your startup idea into an actionable solution, as well as provide the tools and resources you’ll need to maximize your success in the startup industry.
Heads Up: We will be asking participants to pitch problems at the beginning of the session. This workshop will be run by Elizabeth Brown (UI/UX) and Jedidiah Weller (Biz Dev/Software)

More about the Speaker:
Jedi (Jedidiah) Weller is CO-CEO & Head of Technology at Webjunto, a Design & Development agency providing customized services to tech startups and small businesses in Philadelphia. In addition, Jedi is an entrepreneur, landlord, dog lover, and organizer of the Philadelphia Junto Meetup, one of the fastest growing meetups in Philly.
Previously, Jedi has worked as Director of Operations @ Geekli.st in Silicon Valley, Unisys Corporation, Analytical Graphics Inc., and the Technological Institute of Crete, Greece. He serves on the board of Kitchen Cred, a Philadelphia non-profit 501(3)(c) that fosters youth through culinary exercises. He has been a speaker and mentor at technology events across the world, such as SXSW (Slashathon), The Web Summit (#hack4good Dublin), Duke University (#hackduke), and University of Penn (Penn Apps).
